Hash Codes Creation: MD5, SHA-1, CRC32
Png ToolKit quickly creates the most common Hash Codes (MD5, SHA-1, CRC32) used for assuring integrity of the transmitted data.
This tool doesn't require any parameter and immediately creates MD5, SHA-1 and CRC32 hash codes of the images.

Hash Codes Report
Through the use of very sophisticated algorithms it is possible to create, from any type of file, a string of alphanumeric characters said hash code or checksum.
Hash codes may be used to compare two files and determine if they are perfectly equal because, theoretically, it should be impossible to get the same hash code from two different files.
Over the years it has been shown that the algorithms of some types of hash codes were not able to create unique codes, but two different files could create the same code.
Although this occurs very rarely, and despite these imperfections, nowadays, for example, the MD5 checksum is still the most widely used for verifying the integrity of data in the files transmission.

This button, located in the Special Toolbar, allows to create hash codes of any file types.
